Relic Stupa Project
Since planning for the Tsem Rinpoche Relic Stupa Project began in September 2019, we’ve managed to raise approximately one quarter of the estimated project budget of RM10,000,000 (~ USD 2.5 million).
In September 2020, we completed the construction and installation of the Indoor Relic Stupa, just in time for Rinpoche’s one-year parinirvana anniversary.
We’d like to express our appreciation to everyone who helped to make this achievement possible. It is the first of many milestones that must be completed as we collectively strive to create the causes for Rinpoche’s swift return.
The Relic Stupa Project is one of the highest priorities for Tsem Ladrang and Kechara. Phase 2, which is the construction of the Relic Temple, is well underway. We have also begun work on Phase 3, which is the creation of the Outdoor Relic Stupa and other spiritual monuments of the Relic Temple. We appeal for your continued support so that we can complete all remaining phases of this urgent endeavour by September 2022.
